C L A S S E S

QUILT CLUB

Wednesday,  November 11, 2020, second Wednesday of every month. No machine is necessary. It is FREE. Bring in something you have made for show & tell. There will always be discounts.   All 12 blocks have been given out.  This month we will discuss options for putting them all together.   Come and join us, it’s a great time to make new friends and get reacquainted with old ones!

BYOP

Bring your own project will resume January 7, 2020 and every Tuesday unless otherwise specified.  Normally from 10:00 am until 1:00.  Times may change.  If you are interested, please be sure to call and let us know that you are coming.  Space is limited.

Bag of the Month Club in 2020.

Starting in January, we will feature a “Bag Of The Month” Class.  Some may be something we’ve done before, but many will be new.  We hope you will sign up and come enjoy the fun with us!!

This table runner is named for its exciting pieced zig zag design.  A fun and relatively easy project that is perfect to add décor to your table for any holiday!  Can be made using any fabric.

Supplies:

3-5 strips (2 ½” wide) of 3-5 coordinating fabrics

Accent fabric:  ½ yard

Sm accent triangle:  1/8 yard

Backing:  1 yard

Binding: 1/3 yard

(Note:  This runner can be made longer by adding extra panels.  Fabric yardage may need to be adjusted.)

RUNNING WITH SCISSORS

This is a tool case used or the organized sewer!  Approximately 9 ½” High, 12 ½ “ wide and 1 ½” deep when closed, it will accommodate our scissors, markers, rotary cutters and any other small tools.

Stand up totes in two sizes have an easy-to-install zippered top that opens wide for easy access.  Each tote features an adjustable, detachable carrying strap plus two outer zippered pockets and two inner mesh pockets

Tumbler Christmas Stocking

Just in time for Christmas!  I will show you how to make this stocking using 2 ½ inch tumblers as the pattern requests, or 3 ½ inch tumblers, which is quicker.  Kits are available with pre-cut 3 ½ inch tumblers.  If you prefer other Christmas fabric, purchase it prior to class (at a discount) and I will have your tumblers ready.  I will also show you an easier way to put the stocking together.
